Stewart’s world famous top-selling model of all time, the Hydro Hull was originally designed in 1982 documented in the book essential surfing by George Orbelian. the double concave bottom & bevel rail concept that was completely innovative to the surf industry. In 1985, Stewart introduced the 2+1 fin configuration, which changed the face of modern longboarding and was quickly adopted by other board manufacturers.

What makes the Hydro Hull so progressive and popular, even still today, is the performance from the beveled rails and the single to double concave bottom. Full length edges lifted by the bevel on the rail create strong drive out of the turns and plenty of speed down the line, while the bevel makes it forgiving for even the most novice surfer. Lots of V with the double concave bottom makes rail to rail change fast and effortless, so the more advanced surfer can do a hard bottom turn.

Stable, fast, responsive, maneuverable, and fun in anything from ankle-high slop to overhead barrels, the Hydro Hull is the ideal all-around board for any surfer level or wave conditions.
